Our
Mission:
To empower persons
with disabilities, to maximize their independence within the community,
and to remove barriers which prevent integration and equal opportunity.
CSIC
History
In 1987 the Colorado
Springs Independence Center (CSIC) was founded by people with disabilities
who saw a need for independent living services and home health care
services in the community. CSIC now serves eight counties and over
2500 people annually. CSIC is a non-profit 501(c)(3), consumer controlled,
community-based center for independent living, serving people with
disabilities in the Pikes Peak Region.
